 Profile: With over 30 years of experience, Samir
Kanaan has obtained his first license to practice before the Courts in the UAE
in 1971, an LL.B graduate of the school of law of the Lebanese University since
1969. He is an experienced litigator admitted before the UAE and Lebanese
Courts and Arbitration panels. He is an accredited arbitrator with the Dubai
Chamber of Commerce and the GCC Commercial Arbitration Center. In addition to
the above his main areas of specialization are Intellectual property, Maritime
Law, Aviation law, Commercial Law as well as Banking and Insurance. A member of
the Lebanese Bar Association, International Bar Association, American
Arbitration Association, International Association of Commercial Lawyers, Dubai
Quality Group and the administration panel of the Lebanese Business Council. He
had written articles and delivered lectures on business law at the Dubai
Polytechnic College in addition to various lectures and presentation on
Employment, Intellectual property, Arbitration and Aviation Law and also
participated in local and international seminars in these fields.

an UAE lawyer and litigator appearing before all the Courts of the UAE. His
business background has given him the necessary expertise to deal with disputes
related to Commercial and Business matters. He has gained a wide experience in
insurance issues in addition to developing his e-commerce legalities by
contributing and attending specialized seminars in this regard. His other areas
of practice are marine and banking.

 Profile: Antoun Milan has over 20
years of legal experience. He has obtained his LLB Degree from the Lebanese
University. He did his post graduation in the fields of Psychology and
Sociology. He is a member of the Lebanese Bar Association.
His main areas
of expertise are insurance, banking law, labour law, criminal law, maritime law
and personal status law. He specializes in drafting plaints, written
statements, defences, memorandum of appeal and other applications for civil and
criminal matters.

 Profile: A graduate in the faculty of Law and
Political Sciences of the Lebanese University of Beirut since 1971 and a member
of the Lebanese Bar Association. He worked as an associate of Raymond Edde
& Samir Baroudi’s Law Offices in Beirut. His legal experience of over
30 years has gained him expertise in Transport, Banking, Insurance. His main
areas of specialization in the litigation are maritime affairs, Land and Air
Transport.

 Profile: An Indian lawyer, graduated in law from
the Goa University. She holds a Masters Degree in law from the Bombay
University specializing in Corporate and Company law and licensed to practice
before all Courts in India including the Supreme Court. She worked as an Asst.
Public Prosecutor at the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court in Goa- India.
A member of the Bar Association of India, The Bar Council of Goa &
Maharashatra and the International Business Women’s Group. Her main areas
of specialization are Commercial, Intellectual property, Labour law, contracts
, incorporation of companies in the Free Zones and general advisory
works.

 Profile: Marie Elaine Wakil obtained her LL.B
degree in 1985 in the faculty of Law and Political Sciences from St.
Joseph’s University of Beirut –Lebanon. She is a member of the
Lebanese Bar Association since 1986. Her main areas of specialization are
Corporate, Contracts, Private law and incorporation of companies in the Free
Zones.
